Hi,
I’m Nicola

After a successful career in the public sector, I faced a challenging time navigating a workplace conflict and the legal system, experiencing burnout and needing to rebuild my values and confidence. I know how isolating workplace disputes can feel - and it inspired me to make support accessible , affordable and holistic for everyone.

I noticed a gap in services : the system felt fragmented , leaving employees to navigate legal , HR and wellbeing needs separately. I wanted to change that.

Empowering you to achieve fair, confidential and constructive outcome

Our client, a public sector employee with over 13 years of service , experienced a toxic working environment , including bullying and harassment , and a failure to implement reasonable adjustments in line with their disability. Alarmingly, her employer disclosed her mental health issues to colleagues without her consent, compounding the distress and breaching confidentiality obligations.

The Burnout Club provided comprehensive support throughout this challenging process, including drafting formal grievances, managing correspondence with their employer, completing employment tribunal documentation (ETI), and coaching support for mediation and negotiation of a settlement agreement. Our structured , professional approach ensures employees’ rights are protected while navigating workplace disputes empowering them to achieve fair , confidential and constructive outcomes.

  • They guided me step by step, assisting with drafting formal grievances , managing emails and correspondence with my employer , completing the Employment Tribunal paperwork, and providing coaching for mediation and negotiating a settlement. Their support was professional , compassionate and empowering . I couldn’t have managed this myself.

Our Process

  • The first step is an initial confidential conversation where you can outline your situation and the concerns you are facing. This call allows us to understand the nature of the dispute, the context within your workplace and the outcome you hope to achieve. We will also explain how the process works and how we may be able to support you.

  • Following the consultation we will carefully review the information you have provided, including any relevant documents or background details. Every workplace situation is different, so we take time to assess the circumstances and determine the most appropriate way to approach the matter in line with best practice and relevant procedures.

  • Once we have reviewed your case we will provide a clear proposal outlining the support we can offer. This will include the scope of work, the process involved and the associated fees. The proposal is designed to give you a transparent understanding of how we would proceed if you choose to move forward.

  • If you decide to proceed, we will begin working with you to address the situation. This may involve guiding you through grievance procedures, supporting communication between parties or assisting with documentation and preparation. Throughout the process our aim is to provide clear guidance and practical support while maintaining professionalism and confidentiality.
